Benefits Open Enrollment period extended to Nov. 10

Due to the State of Florida’s People First system outage yesterday, the benefits Open Enrollment period has been extended to run through Nov. 10.  This includes enrollment in GatorCare and UFSelect benefits plans.

As Friday, Nov. 10, is a holiday, the University of Florida and the UFHR Benefits office will be closed that day. However, you may still make changes and/or elections to your benefit plans online on this day until 6 p.m. EST, and the People First Service Center will be taking calls at (866) 663-4735.

State of Florida Plans

  • To make changes to or enroll in State of Florida plans via People First, have your PeopleFirst user ID (PFID) ready.
  • To locate your PFID, login to the myUFL systemand navigate to: Main Menu > My Self Service > Benefits > PFID & Beneficiary Info.
  • Please note PeopleFirst passwords expire every 90 days. To reset, log onto the PeopleFirst websiteand follow “Forgot Password” instructions. For further assistance, call (866) 663-4735.

GatorCare and UFSelect Plans
(Including Eagles Dental, Humana Vision, and the Standard’s term life and disability plans)

  • To make changes to or enroll in GatorCare and/or UF Select plans login to the myUFL systemand navigate to: Main Menu > My Self Service > Benefits > Benefits Enrollment.
