Memorial Walkway at the Baughman Center

The UF Employee Memorial Walkway has been established to recognize and honor employees who pass away during their employment service with the university.

Through the program, inscribed bricks are laid along a scenic sidewalk and garden area located within Ficke Gardens, adjacent to the Baughman Center. The location, along the shore of Lake Alice, provides a peaceful setting where friends and family are welcome to visit in remembrance of their loved ones.

We are pleased to offer this recognition for our fellow UF employees. As such, costs associated with the Memorial Walkway, including engraving and laying of the bricks, are funded by the university. Please contact UFHR-Benefits at benefits@ufl.edu or (352) 392-2477 if you have any questions regarding the program.
