Although units often assign people to complete the day-to-day financial duties, it is important that managers understand the underlying concepts of the university’s financial system in order to effectively run their unit. In this online session, participants will learn some basic information about UF’s funding and budgeting model, analyze some key financial indicators for a unit, and learn about the importance of an internal control system for their unit.
