FLARE offers retirement resources, such as retirement and education planning courses, to help UF employees find the balance between making ends meet today and a comfortable future. FLARE courses can help employees make educated decisions regarding personal finance and retirement.

GET573 Florida Retirement System/DROP Workshop
Wednesday, Jan. 9, 9–11 a.m.
This workshop will provide you with an understanding of the Florida Pension Plan and the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) through a review of current tools, including videos and webcasts, and cover pertinent topics like how to use online resources, apply for your retirement or DROP, convert your health and life coverage, and more. Thursday, Jan. 10, 9–11 a.m.
This program will provide unbiased information on Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare supplemental insurance, long-term care insurance, prescription assistance and Medicare fraud.
