Types of Level 2 Screenings
There are two types of backgrounds checks utilized by the University of Florida—FBI livescan and 435 livescan. Both are considered a level 2 screening, and both require candidates to submit their fingerprints to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to conduct their search against the Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) databases and, for 435 Livescan, Department of Children and Families (DCF) databases.
The following chart provides information on when these types of background checks are typically used. If you are not sure which one to select, contact Talent Acquisition & Onboarding at 352-392-2477 for additional information.
