Criser, Peabody closed due to facility emergency

UF Facilities Services is working to restore electrical power to areas of Criser and Peabody Halls that were affected by a large-scale water leak this morning. Student services that were moved out of Criser and Peabody will continue to operate at those temporary locations until further notice. Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, Student Financial Aid and the UF Bursar will continue to operate out of Smathers Library, Room 100.

UF’s Criser Hall is closed due to a construction-related facility emergency. Student Financial Affairs and the UF Bursar have relocated to Smathers Library East, Room 100. The Dean of Students staff have relocated to the Reitz Union, Tigert Hall and South & Riker. Please check the website, dso.ufl.edu, to contact specific staff members. The offices of the university registrar and admissions are closed until further notice.

The Counseling and Wellness Center’s Crisis and Emergency Resource Center (CERC) located on the 4th floor of Peabody is also closed due to the facility emergency.  As a reminder, the Counseling and Wellness Center at 3190 Radio Road location is open for those who need services.
