Frontline student services resume in Criser, Peabody halls

On Aug. 22, a water line break and subsequent flooding resulted in the closure of Criser and Peabody halls. Staff located there, including the offices of Admissions, Registrar and Student Financial Aid and the UF Bursar, were temporarily relocated to other buildings on campus.

UF Facilities Services worked quickly to restore services and prevent further damage, and Peabody Hall reopened on Aug. 23. Although repairs to the damaged areas in Criser Hall are ongoing, all frontline student services resumed in Criser and Peabody halls on Sept. 4.
