Over the past year, the UF On Target Classification Project brought together 11 workgroups of representatives from throughout the university to begin the work of
establishing a more meaningful classification system for TEAMS employees. The goal of the project is to create transparency with our staff’s classification titles so they are
meaningful and accurate while showing clear career paths: good job, right title, great results.
The University has calculated the new proposed pooled fringe rates for fiscal year 2015-16
and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although
we do not expect any objections, the proposed rates are subject to DHHS approval and
should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2015-16. The
rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2015.
