    • Ensure your storm supply kit is stocked; find instructions on building one on the Emergency Management website.
    • Fuel your vehicle.
    • Inform family and friends of your plan, especially if you’ll be at a different location.
    • Secure or remove outdoor items like plants, grills, and furniture.

During a Storm

    • Stay indoors and avoid travel.
    • If winds become strong, seek shelter away from doors and windows.
    • Avoid using candles to reduce fire risk.
    • Expect limited emergency services and bus routes during the storm.
