New Chair Leadership Program

Eligibility

New department chairs and school/institute directors are invited by the Provost’s office to participate in this program.

Curriculum Highlights

• Key Topics: Informed by input and feedback from current department chairs and deans
• Leadership Framework: Utilizes UF leadership competency model for a UF-specific understanding of leadership effectiveness
• Learning Components:
  • Workshops and discussions
  • Assigned readings and online modules
  • Insightful guest speakers

This program runs from July to March.
