Employees may select tax-deferred or post-tax Roth options.

Contributions may be modified throughout the year by contacting Fidelity Investments. It may take several weeks to implement requested changes.

Voluntary savings plans are designed for long-term retirement planning purposes. UF 403(b) plans allow for loans or hardship withdrawals under very specific circumstances and according to the plan’s loan and hardship policy statements. Contributions and earnings are allowed to grow tax-deferred and then taxed as income when withdrawn from the plan.
New SUSORP members may enroll through the voluntary column of their ORP Enroll Form or their ORP Mandatory Participation Form (College of Medicine and Health Science Center faculty only).
Existing SUSORP members may begin voluntary contributions by faxing a completed ORP Change Form to UFHR Benefits at (352) 392-5166.
