Science Communications Course Application

We appreciate your interest in the Science Communications Course. As a UF or UF Health employee you must fill out this form. All other applicants go through the Destiny One portal.  This program is conducted by the UF Center for Public Interest Communications.

• This program meets twice a month, live and online from February – April 2025.
• The cost of the program is $1395, which includes six live sessions, materials and activities and just-in-time feedback. You will get a $150 discount if you have been recommended by a program alumni or if you are joining with three or more people from your department.

Please complete the following two steps to apply:

• Step 1:
  Complete the online application form below.
  
• Step 2:
  Please have your manager or supervisor fill out this Supporting Documentation Form.
• Step 3:
  Once you are notified of acceptance into the program, you will receive an invoice for the course. This can be paid by providing the relevant chartfield.

By submitting this application, I am confirming my understanding that if I am selected to participate in the Science Communications Course, I will be responsible for attending all scheduled meetings or making alternative arrangements when conflicts are unavoidable, actively participating in those meetings, completing assignments between meetings and working with fellow participants as needed.
