This toolkit will help you with processing time and leave for employees and managing exceptions. Training requirements, security roles, and other useful materials are also available to assist you with policy and procedures.
You may notice the navigation in myUFL is different than what is shown in these training resources. Rest assured, these changes are primarily look and feel differences. All policies and procedures discussed in these materials are accurate and up to date. Training materials will be updated to reflect the new look and menu of myUFL.

To register for online courses in myTraining, navigate to mytraining.hr.ufl.edu. From the myTraining Dashboard, you can search for courses using the Activity Search field in the upper left hand corner. Just type the course name, course ID or a keyword and then click Search.
After you’ve registered for training, your current enrollments display in the Training list found on the Dashboard page. To begin an online course, click the green Start button.
You can also access myTraining from myUFL using the following navigation:
Main Menu > My Self Service > Training and Development > myTraining
PST915 Time & Labor
Required for payroll processors and department administrators to obtain the UF_TL_DEPT_PROCESSOR role and recommended for all UF supervisors and managers, this interactive session reviews leave policy and practices. Other topics include time-worked rules, reporting time in myUFL, using Time and Labor tools, managing exceptions, and approving time.
PST916 Time & Labor Approver
This required online course is designed for UF employees in supervisory roles (managers, deans, directors, department heads, VPs, etc.) responsible for approving time and leave and to obtain the UF_TL_DEPT_APPROVER role. This brief, 20-minute course covers the policies and procedures for accurately approving employee time and leave requests. Note: Effective 3/28/2023, the PST916 Payroll Approver class will no longer require recertification to maintain the UF_TL_DEPT_APPROVER security role.
PRO320 UF Leave Policy
Designed for payroll processors, department administrators, and supervisors, this session provides an in-depth review of UF leave policy and facilitates a better understanding or FMLA and extended leaves of absence. For anyone who interacts with the myUFL Time and Labor module and/or manages time-worked and leave, this session is for you! Leave Policy is part of the Pro3 HR/Payroll track.
