Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
Starting January 1, 2024, HMO plan services will be offered by Aetna, Capital Health Plan, or United Healthcare.

Pharmacy Benefits Manager Change
Effective Jan. 1, 2024, OptumRx will replace CVS Caremark as the State Group Insurance Program’s Administrator for pharmacy benefits. You’ll gain access to a wide pharmacy network including Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Publix and independent pharmacies.
- New prescription cards will be mailed out prior to Jan. 1, 2024, and must be presented when refiling prescriptions.
- Employees may access the OptumRx website starting mid-November to review drug prices, inquire about prior authorization for specialty drugs and obtain information on the mail order program.
- Employees who utilize mail order through CVS Caremark are encouraged to order their 90 day prescription where able in early December.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
Starting January 1, 2024, HSA maximum contributions will increase by $300 for individual plans and $550 for family plans.
Dental Plan Rate Decrease
Effective January 1, 2024, Cigna plan rates will decrease by about 5% for the 2024 plan year.
Cigna Hospital Supplemental Plans
While the premium remains the same, the fixed daily benefit of the 365 PLUS plan will increase from $200 to $250, starting January 1, 2024.
