A different approach to staff evaluations
UFHR introduced “UF Engaged” in the fall of 2019 as a new approach to staff appraisals designed to encourage regular feedback, rather than a once-a-year evaluation. UF Engaged did away with annual appraisals, ratings or complicated categories. Instead, leaders get a quarterly reminder to provide feedback to employees, arranged around each employee’s anniversary date.
The system is designed to support UFHR’s Strategic Commitment: To take an aligned and contemporary approach to performance management that focuses on fostering high performance.
We invite you to learn more about UF Engaged by watching the video above and exploring this site, which includes further details about the initiative, opportunities to learn more and answers to frequently asked questions.
