Position Summary


The University of Florida seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Director of Facilities Management within the Department of Housing & Residence Life. This key role oversees the strategic planning, construction, renovation, and maintenance of over 100 residential facilities, encompassing 3 million square feet. Reporting to the Senior Director for Housing & Residence Life, the Director ensures operational excellence, compliance with regulations, and innovation in facilities management to enhance the student experience. The position involves managing capital projects, implementing preventative maintenance programs, leading a skilled workforce, and fostering a community-oriented environment.
